This table lamp is a modernist interpretation of Japanese paper lanterns. The Japanese Paper Lantern Table Lamp is handcrafted with bamboo ribs and translucent washi paper, which is made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. The designer likens the light from the table lamp to sunlight filtering through a traditional shōji paper door – a light sculpture that creates a warm glow and a welcoming atmosphere.
